Bellllo

Tonight Noah successfully drank water (or as he calls it, belllo) from a cup without ANY help. He was doing a great job, drank almost the entire cup with only a few little spills. We were congratulating him lots. Then he decided to spit the last couple of sips out. *sigh* Boys. Time to change his clothes.

29 weeks!

Well we're officially one week into the third trimester of this pregnancy. I still feel really great and for the most part don't have that awkward pregnancy feeling to me yet, though the belly is definitely getting bigger on an almost daily basis. Baby has stopped somersaulting and has gotten himself "stuck" with his head down by my left hip, and his feet, of course, under my right ribs. After 2 boys destroying my ribs, they may never be the same. Statistically he's about 2 1/2 pounds and about 15 inches long, like a butternut squash. He's fully developed and just plain growing at this point, and his head is getting bigger and bigger to make room for his brain. Noah still has no idea what's going to happen, but he gets really excited when he sees his cousin baby Laura, or any baby at the grocery store.

I handed Noah his snack cup with cereal in it for breakfast this morning. Here's the conversation that followed.

E - Do you want to sit in your chair or on the couch?
N - Couch. Show?
E - You think you get to watch a show?
N - YEAH

It was so cute I had to give in.

Shadows

Last night we were sitting in the front room reading books waiting for Z to get home. Sunlight was streaming to the front room from the back windows, and Noah discovered his shadow. he also discovered that shadow puppets can eat his toes!

28 Weeks

This week the little boy is roughly 15 inches long, like a Chinese Cabbage. He can see light and is bulking up.

27 weeks

This week the interior kidlet is estimated to be 14 1/2 inches long and weighs roughly 2 pounds. Veggie-wise he compares to a head of cauliflower. He wakes and sleeps at regular intervals, opens and closes his eyes, and could even be sucking on his fingers.
